Go!Zilla is a download manager with support for drag-and-drop files directly into categories for easy organization. It can speed up Internet downloads, however in our testing, it did slow down a PC running Windows 7. Though the software hasn't been updated since 2008, it still has a rather popular following.
The download manager can be run on a timer and can be set to shut off your computer when the download task has completed.
With the latest update to the 5.x series, the AdWare which used to be present in Go!Zilla has been completely removed, moving to a shareware pricing model.
Apart from typical resuming and restarting functions of your typical download manager, Go!Zilla supports many protocols and can integrate with many browsers including Opera, Internet Explorer, Firefox and more.
Go!Zilla can increase the speed of downloads and pause and resume downloads.
Go!Zilla is licensed as Shareware for the Windows operating system / platform from download managers and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after an unspecified number of days). The Go!Zilla 5.02 demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the download of the full version.
Compatibility with this software may vary, but will generally run fine under Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP on either a 32-bit or 64-bit setup. A separate x64 version may be available from Gozilla.
We have tested Go!Zilla 5.02 against malware with several different programs. We certify that this program is clean of viruses, malware and trojans. [Read more]
